Japanese bath towel L – Clay

Lightweight, absorbent, and pleasantly soft: this Japanese towel is crafted from 100% organic cotton using a traditional weaving process. The 2.5 layers of gauze make it exceptionally light, quick-drying, and comfortable on the skin.

At 88 × 160 cm, it offers ample coverage as a lightweight bath, sauna, or beach towel while still folding down small for easy transport. It takes up surprisingly little space in your luggage, gym bag, or for a picnic. Its fine texture and soft feel also make it gentle on sensitive skin and suitable for baby care.

These towels are produced in Osaka by a family-owned business that has passed down and perfected its weaving craft over four generations. The looms used to create them have been in operation since the late 19th century. In this way, the towel combines a long Japanese weaving tradition with an uncomplicated companion for many occasions.
